Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how Lieux ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit www.lieux.la (the "Site"), make a payment through our Site, or otherwise interact with us. It also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1) Who we are & scope

This Policy applies to personal information we collect online (including through our Wix website) and offline (e.g., phone or email communications). It covers visitors, prospective clients, clients, vendors, and any individual who interacts with us.

2) Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: (a) you provide it to us; (b) it’s collected automatically; and (c) we receive it from third parties.

a) Information you provide

  • Contact details (name, email address, phone number, city/state/country)

  • Project and inquiry details (project address or general location, scope, timeline, budget)

  • Account/payment information when you pay an invoice or make a purchase through the Site (see Payments via Stripe below)

  • Communications (emails, messages submitted via forms, or calls)

  • Hiring information (if you apply for a role): CV/resume, portfolio, links you share

b) Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, our providers (including Wix) may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, time and date of visits, referring/exit pages, approximate geolocation (city/region), and performance/diagnostics data

  • Cookies and similar technologies: See Cookies & tracking below

c) Information from third parties

  • Payment processors (Stripe): limited transaction metadata (e.g., payment status, amount, non-sensitive card details like last 4 digits and brand), fraud screening results

  • Vendors/partners: scheduling tools, cloud storage, email service providers, and analytics tools may provide usage or interaction data

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, precise geolocation, health data) via the Site, and we ask that you do not submit such data through web forms.

3) Payments via Stripe

We use Stripe to process online payments. When you pay through the Site:

  • Your payment card details are transmitted directly to Stripe; we do not receive or store full card numbers.

  • Stripe may collect personal information needed to process payments, perform fraud checks, comply with legal obligations (e.g., anti‑money laundering/KYC), and maintain transaction records.

  • Stripe acts as an independent controller or our service provider depending on the context. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe’s own privacy policy and terms. You can learn more at: https://stripe.com/privacy and https://stripe.com/legal.

If you have questions about how Stripe handles your information, please contact Stripe directly.

4) How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Site and our services

  • Respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and manage projects

  • Process payments and send invoices/receipts

  • Communicate administrative updates, service changes, and important notices

  • Conduct troubleshooting, analytics, security monitoring, and fraud prevention

5) Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK visitors)

For individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information under these legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., running a secure and effective business and website), consent (where required), and legal obligations.

6) How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers / processors that help us operate our business and Site (e.g., Wix for hosting, Stripe for payments, email and cloud storage providers, project management and communication tools). These parties may access information only to perform services on our behalf and must protect it.

Your choices:

  • You can manage cookie preferences via our cookie banner (if enabled) and through your browser/device settings.

  • Some cookies are essential to the Site’s core functionality and cannot be disabled.

  • We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

If we enable advertising/retargeting technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and provide opt‑out mechanisms as required by law.

8) Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, including to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Typical retention periods include:
